Scaramucci: I’ve Seen Trump ‘Throw a Dead Spiral Through a Tire’

New White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci praised President Donald Trump for his competitiveness and athletic skill Friday.

During Friday’s press briefing at the White House, Scaramucci described Trump’s athletic prowess, saying he has seen the president “throw a dead spiral through a tire.”

“[Trump]’s the most competitive person I’ve ever met,” Scaramucci stated. “I have seen this guy throw a dead spiral through a tire. I’ve seen him at Madison Square Garden with a topcoat on, he’s standing in the key, he’s hitting foul shots and swishing them. He sinks three-foot putts. I don’t see this guy as a guy that’s ever under siege. This is a very, very competitive person.”

Pretty sure he said 30’ putts, but he’s a New Yorker so he said it fast.
Sinking 3 foot putts is what I do at miniature golf.

As said, he’s talking about throwing a spinning football through a tire, but a dead spiral means there was no wobble at all. Spinning perfectly and true.

Scaramucci paused for dramatic effect, then added, “Donald Trump is the only man in the world I have ever seen punch a cyclops between his eye.”

I would be more impressed if he would throw a Clinton into jail, but I guess it’s a start.

Best President in our lifetimes, if not ever.

Remember when Glen Beck used to ask, "Where will we find the next George Washington?" Back before pride swelled him up like a pig and blinded him to the answer to his own prayer.

As I recall the teaching, Washington was a rather wealthy and very successful businessman before playing Atlas and putting the world on his shoulders.

Sounds alot like Trump.

Scaramucci is in charge of communications. He doesn't have "create the message" in his portfolio. His portfolio is "get Trump's message unmolested to the people."

I'll accept there is a non-zero chance that Scaramucci will persuade Trump to change course of climate change, and a real but remote possibility Scaramucci will tilt Trump policy toward gun restrictions. In the second policy area, he's a smaller risk, I think, than Ivanka is - regardless of her sitting in the WH.

I will hold Trump responsible for the policy positions he advocates, regardless of who persuades him to take them. I prefer he be free to take advice from where HE wants to take it.

This move upset all the typical nevertrumpers so the likelihood is that it’s a good move.

On more than one occasion, Trump has named that tune without any notes.
