Good that came out of the shooting is Israel gained control of the 7th century tourist attraction at the Temple Mount from the Jordanian Waqf.
IF this is Tillerson’s view that there are moderate muslims (esp. in ME), it is surprising that he would have been chosen as head of State Dept! That said, this report would seem supportive of that view :(

He has repeatedly said it is and is also the view of Nat. Sec. Advisor, H.R. McMasters, aka the Brain.
Makes some sense in the ME political mess of musselmen, but is long tern, that view is a strategy for defeat by Islam.
All, like Sessions, good picks on the surface, but bad for the country in the long term IMHO.
