No, guess you missed the point. The law says that until the paternity test, he's liable. He didn't know he wasn't the father until the test--which happened AFTER he was $65k behind in payments. So he's going to pay for his ignorance and the sex whether he got her pregnant or not. Is that literate enough?

The law says that until the paternity test, he's liable. And he didn't know he was accused. As soon as the test proved she was a liar, he should have been on his way.

Cornejo, who is currently raising three children of his own and two nephews, claimed that he was not made aware of this and only found out about the child support payments last year when a deputy served him court papers claiming that the state of Texas lists him as having another child. See, if the courts didn't suck, it should take more than just "she said" to hang a guy out for 65 large.
