President Trump’s decision Tuesday to attack Attorney General Jeff Sessions over Sessions’ “position” on Hillary Clinton’s various scandals only serves to highlight Trump’s own hypocrisy on the issue — and is likely to fuel concerns from his base who see Sessions at the best hope to fulfill Trump’s immigration policies.
Trump’s attack is the latest in a series of shots Trump has launched at Sessions in recent days, annoyed still over Sessions’ decision to recuse himself from Russia investigations in March. But Trump himself was the one who flip-flopped on whether to prosecute Clinton.

If that's the case, then he has the most classless, bush league, unprofessional way possible of making that known. In reality, if he wanted the DOJ to reopen an investigation of the Clintons, or anything else, that should have been done in private for many reasons, including that it is not smart to announce an investigation is underway as long as it can be kept quiet.

Trump doesn’t have an FBI Director in place to do the criminal investigations. As long as this goes on, no one is going to be investigated or brought up for prosecution.
This is what the rats do best. By tying up the Justice Department, the rats are free to do anything and say anything they want without fear.
I think Sessions has been great on illegal immigration. I don’t see another person who could be AG who would go after the illegals and not give a damn what people call him, the way Sessions has. He is straight up law & order.
Given that, I don’t see why he cannot (or will not) investigate Crooked Hillary & her gang. There are so many Clinton crimes which are not related to Russia. Even then, in my mind he recused himself his involvement in Russia & the election - not Hillary’s.
If he isn’t personally involved in an investigation, he could direct others in the DOJ to go after the Clintons.
If I had to choose, I would rather have the illegal aliens gone, than the Clintons locked up - I think they are circling the drain anyway. But, I don’t think it should be a choice between the two outcomes. Both should happen.

hes not hiding anything...hes an outsider and they hate that. They are investigating his business dealings from years ago..they can drag this on forever, killing him politically. Trust me, the Bushes etc are out to get him from day 1..he humiliated lil Jebbie and they are pissed. Sessions played right into their hands. He needs to make an address to the nation, explaining how the “swamp” he pledged to drain is fighting back...Sessions is acting like a typical “insider”. not gonna “rock the boat” of the establishment. Trump is this countries last chance to stop the corruption and insider control over us....we lose him,its over..the globalists have won.

Sessions stated before he took the job , that hed have to recuse himself..he should have told Trump ahead of time..plus, his weak, pathetic testimony in congress only fueled this idiotic Russia story. Hes caused Trump more trouble than anybody....with both sides out to get Trump from day 1, hes not the right guy for the job.

Actually, the buck stops with the POTUS. He can order and stop investigations and prosecutions. Obama did it with immigration enforcement , investigations and prosecutions.
I don’t know what’s up with Trump. While he has the power to do so, he cannot politically get away with firing Sessions and the special prosecutor, and appointing a new AG and putting him/her in charge of the Russia investigation.
He needs to leave his loyal ally Sessions alone and order an investigation of Clinton if he wishes ( there are reasons not to do so, as it would appear to be vindictive). He needs to hope the special prosecutor over steps his commission and gives Trump good cause to fire him. He does not have good cause now.
Does anyone know the rules on a secret pardon? If Obama pardoned clinton in secret can AG or POTUS find out? If so..can they reveal it.

How could you or I know whether an investigation is going on?
Sessions is a kabuki swamp member. A deepstate compromised or corrupt rat bastard and he’s REFUSING TO STEP DOWN.
Obvious to every rational person after he recused himself and then his DAG appointed a special counsel to investigate TRUMP!

He approached another woman 10-20 years ago? He did a business deal with some side arrangements? Well, yeah. Of course he did. And I could care less if it were 10 times that, I voted for him because he can win.
True, & I hope an investigation is ongoing. But if so, why go after Sessions, especially in public, suggesting he conduct an investigation?
A common misconception. Sessions recused from campaign issues, not Russia.
