POTUS SLAMS SESSIONS AGAIN: He Endorsed Me Because of Big Crowds, Not Loyalty

In a brief interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Trump ripped into Attorney General Sessions once again. This time, the President cut even deeper, suggesting Sessions endorsed him because of Trump’s success as a candidate, not out of loyalty.

President Donald Trump  expressed his disappointment in Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday and questioned the importance of Mr. Sessions’s early endorsement of Mr. Trump’s candidacy, but the president declined to say whether he planned to fire him.

“It’s not like a great loyal thing about the endorsement,” Mr. Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “I’m very disappointed in Jeff Sessions.”

While the President is still mum on his plans concerning Sessions, Scaramucci told NBC News a decision on the AG’s future will be made ‘shortly.’

The only was I see this being 3D chess is if Trump is trying to distract the media and Democrats away from healthcare.

It was still Trump’s job to vet him. I learned that the hard way. Delegation is great, but proceed with caution.

Some of us are not dismayed at Trump's comments because we learned long ago not to accept them at face value.

Heck -- I haven't seen any evidence that Jeff Sessions is dismayed at Trump's comments about Jeff Sessions. LOL.

No, I am solidly behind Sessions. Maybe Trump forgot, but Sessions ran unopposed during his last reelection to the Senate.

I agree. Sessions is a big boy and we all complain about the “congeniality” of the Senate and the good ol’ boy system of DC. Trump is not of DC and is direct. You don’t perform, or worse yet, are disloyal (which I submit Sessions was by recusing himself without consulting Trump) you’re through. Be a grown up and take the hint. There’s a new sheriff in town. It may not be pretty, but stuff is getting done. Just watched a report on CNN last night how Mexico is now having to deal with illegal immigration on it’s southern border because the illegal movement to the U.S. has all but stopped. Like we’re supposed to feel bad for Mexico...

On the other hand, this may all be theater for a reason we don’t yet understand. If Sessions becomes the darling of the left because Trump is a meany, then Sessions can drop the hammer on Lynch, Clinton, etc. and what will they then say?

If that’s true, why had Trump been close to him until now?

I don’t think Trump it as he didn’t know the man...I think he meant it as he didn’t know what was inside the man...

Trump’s fashion is street fighting... the elite take offense to that... but from NY, it’s typical... Trump has not taken to the “polite put on” the politicians use. Trump, sitting at his computer at night ... he types out what he thinks.

Just the same, I wish he’d be adult and give the reasons he has lost confidence in Sessions and then let him go. Speak to the public...we’re still out here and we hear you... just talk to us ... this kind of tweet does not help you or your cause!

First one I’ve seen where the majority of respondents actually expressed dismay at President Trump’s actions. Some even calling them “sick”. Is the worm turning?

Your definition of "some" is the same ridiculous asswipe (tagged) who goes from thread to thread trashing Trump. Why these people are allowed to continue here is beyond me, but I don't run the place.

Threads like these are great for exposing TROLLS.

No. I was told by Bert today that the majority here think this is a ruse between sessions and trump with sessions blessing

What if the contents of Comey’s office deeply implicate Jeff in the coup?

I agree. I am deeply concerned about this and it’s the first time I’ve been alarmed by someone trump’s gone after. Sessions has been loyal to Trump since Day ONE — and now Trump’s questioning WHY Sessions was loyal to him? This is bizarre, and cruel.

Please, President Trump, stop.

See Post #42. I just put the quote out there ... I know better than to pretend that I know what Trump is thinking at any moment in time. LOL.

Trump voters are not going anywhere. Who knew the swamp was so orchestrated and included some in the CIA, FBI and Republican party? Everyone now knows and the liberal media is colluding with the deep state 24/7 in an attempt to take down a sitting President. Not going to happen.

Trump will get a huge crowd in OH tonight and it will show that those who voted for MAGA are not going anywhere. Unfortunately, if Sessions doesn’t unrecuse he will likely be replaced just they way Spicer was replaced. Wouldn’t be surprised if Priebus was next. They have not helped this President over the past 6 months.

Nothing personal, there are likely just some better people for the positions now that the Swamp has been exposed like never before.

All the Leaks tell you just how too faced some that are very close to Trump are.

Drain the Swamp. The Russia story is FAKE and Mueller needs to return the laptop he is using to take down a sitting President and stop being paid money by We the People. Trump gave them 6 months and now he will have a fresh start.

No more leaks. No more Hack Mueller.

I think if Sessions had investigated Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, Uranium One, etc etc things would be much better right now, but he has done NOTHING..there is zero investigating, nothing..so what the heck is he doing

Is the headline misleading, or did I miss something. I didn’t see anything about endorsing because of crowds.
