Normally I would agree with you about a full repeal. Because both the previous GOP bills were just as bad or worse than Ocare. But this “skinny Repeal” was indeed an indirect repeal of the whole of Ocare. The items they were repealing would have cut the head off of the snake called Ocare and it would have been rendered pretty much null and void without them. We are NEVER going to get a full repeal so this was as close as we were going to get and would have had the same outcome as a full repeal.
And John just screwed it up on purpose...
I must disagree on repeal. This is a bait n switch to blame everyone on the right for what happens afterwards, just as it was intended.
Regardless his motivation, I believe he voted correctly. That is in no way a defense of the man...it is just ironic.
