I have never liked “Senator” McStain! I ike him even less today!
I did not personally know him when I was an active duty Naval Aviator, but I sure as Hell knew OF him! His reputation, the “scuttlebutt,” as a four-star screw-up preceded him!
Said scuttlebutt was most unfavorable! A “Double Four Star Legacy,” (McStain’s daddy & granddaddy were four star Admirals) McStain stunk up the Naval academy, the flight training program and his tour as a Naval Aviator. He was roundly disliked!
I’ll give him credit for honorable service as a POW, although even that record has been questioned by better men than McStain. I can’t help but think that he was “turned” by the Russians/North Vietnamese and is a real-life “Manchurian Candidate!”
His US Senate “service” has most certainly NOT been honorable! From his Keating Five scandal to “Nay” on Obamacare repeal, McStain has HUGELY disrespected We the People!

They certified that the 435-member House had only 45 members and 45 staffers, while the 100-member Senate had only 45 employees total.

I’ve been curious about this - if he becomes a Democrat at the last minute for spite, would the governor have to appoint a Democrat to serve out his term, or would he be able to appoint a Republican since McCain was elected as a Republican?
