Can you imagine how Chinese would think when they are watching political circus about Russia in DC? With so many going to extreme length to take him down, they would wonder if he has enough political clouts to do whatever he professes to do. It gives them more incentive to stall. Pushing Russia hoax is an act of treason, not legally but politically.

Well, that's right. China isn't going to seriously negotiate with Trump when the entire US government is busy giving the world the impression that Trump might not be around in a couple of months.

I think a clear statement to the effect that if Kim's tests continue, the US will support Japan in their deployment of a full and credible anti-NK nuclear deterrent would be the way to go. China has been trying to punish South Korea over THAAD because they think the system might prevent them from responding to a potential Japanese attack. For domestic political purposes, China has never been willing to let WWII come to an end. Let's see how the Politburo like Abe and crew with MIRVed warheads at the ready - and it all being Xi's fault.

In my view the GOPeer just bought and own the NK problem. They had been able to say, look the children were running this thing and we have a mess to clean up and it will be ugly and dangerous. But now they want to run a one armed sack race and hope their champion falls on his face in the mud.
