To be fair, I think part of the problem is the crappy economy and the fact there are no entry level jobs or part-time and summer jobs for teenagers. Costs are too high. For example, we used to have summer intern jobs for college students and even some high schoolers, but that all disappeared long ago.
Every restaurant in my city is begging for workers. From what I’ve seen, the young work ethic is dead.
