McMaster sent an official letter to Rice informing her that she would maintain unfettered access to classified information, according to a report from Circa’s Sara Carter.
The president was not aware of his actions, according to two senior White House officials and an intelligence official.
One official questioned Rice’s access despite an ongoing investigation into her activities in reportedly unmasking Trump officials’ conversations with Russia during the presidential transition.
As Bloomberg’s Eli Lake reported, McMaster also concluded that Rice did nothing wrong by unmasking Trump transition officials.
Rice celebrated the exit of former national security advisor Michael Flynn and welcomed Trump’s decision to hire McMaster.
“Congrats to Lt Gen McMaster. I wish you every success as National Security Advisor,” she wrote on Twitter. “Hope you will be able to choose your team, have direct reporting and daily access to POTUS, and can eliminate Strategic Initiatives Group.”

I’m really uncomfortable with this. Regardless of any suspicions, conspiracies, or associations of Susan Rice, why on earth does a non-government worker retain a TS clearance *after* leaving government service? So he/she can get a book deal?

Well. I’m officially out of outrage. Mainly I’m getting prepared.
But when I see these stories and stuff like the WH intern supervisor threatening people who support Trump I wonder what is going on. Why haven’t all these staffers been fired. Is anyone in charge? Why are so many Trump haters allowed to be right in the WH?
Ed Morrisey quoted this about McMaster’s letter NOT being unusual, but a standard practice by the NSC for its former members:

The reason, the official said, is for the purposes of continuity. Without a continued security clearance, it would be illegal for government officials to discuss relevant sensitive information with a former official. The process for reauthorizing a past official’s security clearance is lengthy.”
“This may or may not be a bad practice, but one thing the official stressed to me was that this security clearance doesn’t give former officials like Rice continued asking privileges for sensitive information.”
Also, LTG McMaster is a person who takes a wide area view of situations and has proven himself to be an unconventional thinker. I believe that people here are giving him a disservice for their calling to oust him immediately. Remember, the NSC is an advisory group. And give him time to see if the bh0 holdovers are next on the chopping block; I think they will be.
Also, the putting of K.T. McFarland in as the Ambassador to Singapore puts here in the center of what is going on in China, India, Pakistan, Southeast Asia, and the Korea’s. I also see her there as a stepping stone to a higher position.

Yes they should have and I want to know if Hellary still has security clearances..........her’s and all Obammie staffers/advisors/etc. should be GONE!!
