Just heard on FOX that 24 members of that USMC have been rescued, but three crew members are still missing.

Another Osprey. So complicated......easy to screw up. A few years back I attended a Marine unit (Vietnam era) reunion at Camp Lejeune, NC. We had an opportunity to visit the MV-22 Osprey training facility at MCAS New River which is nearby.
We had a chance to see the Osprey up close.
The Osprey early on had a reputation as a widow maker, this training command had gone several years without fatalities so most of the initial issues had been addressed.
One thing did stand out ... for every hour of flight time there is (at least then) 21 hours of maintenance required on the Osprey.
