On Friday evening, the New York Times published a statement allegedly issued by President Trump in support of H.R. McMaster after the National Security Advisor came under heavy fire for his anti-Israel views and firing Trump loyalists. Former Trump campaign manager, Roger Stone, says the White House issued the statement without President Trumps approval.

Who would be able to do this in the White House? What would the motivation be? If true, couldn't something far worse be posted about someone else? Oto, I hope Roger Stone is right that there was not endorsement given to HRM from President Trump.

Yep; we all know he likes to take it direct to the people with Twitter.
I have criticized this from time to time but it’s his way and it has worked for him more often than not.
If he wanted to publicly support/endorse McMasters; he would have Tweeted it for sure. He may get along fine with him but didn’t want to publicly support him for political reasons.
I believe this version and not the NYT version.

Former Trump campaign manager, Roger Stone, says the White House issued the statement without President Trumps approval.
How would Trump's former campaign manager - a man who isn't even in the White House - know this? If Trump's White House is issuing statements without the consent of the president, a lot of people need to be fired on the spot. Anyway, Trump can clear all this up himself, and if he wants McMaster out, he's out.

Simple, Roger Stone is a confidant and friend of the president.
If you tuned into that “INFO something” (/s) website/program you would know that Roger Stone is a member of the Trump “in crowd”.

I'll wait until DJT says something on the subject, in the mean time, I don't give a shite.

Is the President using Stone as cover to send a message without being directly in the line of fire?

This is from the Fake News New York Times!!
Few read it and no one believes it...according to super secret sources that are anonymous.
