The real tragedy is that some evil racist will use this as a way to spread hatred against non-white people. Yes, sarcasm.
That’s o.k. Here is a trick I have learned...
When a racist attacks a minority in retribution for this, you can just say...
“Now, I’m not a racist and I disagree with a lot of what they say but this one act does not represent all racists. Most racists want the same things as you. They just want their families to be safe and want to be left to live in peace. There are lots and lots of racists who would never hurt anybody. You can’t paint all racists as bad people just because of the actions of one of them.”
Sounds familiar doesn’t it?
