Yes, #16 settled that question once and for all. All Californians can do is support the growing states rights’s movement.

I think this kind of thinking is a great opportunity for real federalism. Just what we’ve always wanted.

If Californians want to inflict socialist catastrophe on their citizens (using remarkably corrupt voting system), why should someone in West Virginia, say, care?

But when the left is in power, they demand that those same policies be inflicted ON EVERY STATE, via the federal government, even if those states do not condone them.

Let Texas and like minded states run their affairs. Let California and like minded states run theirs. Bottom line is power is removed from Washington. I wonder if the left is developing a strange, new respect for federalism?

Also, repeal the 17th amendment.

That's what I thought. It would be interesting to see what would happen if they tried it. As far as I'm concerned good riddance!
