When the hell is there time left to train to fight? Do they actually go to the range and blow things up anymore? Glad I didn’t have to put up with that crap, I would have walked out of a class that was indoctrinating like that. I was going to say that ain’t my Fathers Army but it isn’t even mine.
I'd have to say that it probably started to change and these classes started to proliferate right around the time that I retired in 1995. I was employed at Fort Hood in the civil service shortly thereafter and saw the change since that time.
