I don’t see hordes bashing or rushing the car, either...why plow?
I see people walking across the front of car, not solid/blocked coverage, though.
Like you said, we don’t have vid from drivers car.
Maybe clearer vid will surface showing different angles/levels, and explain more about situation leading up to his plowing the crowd.
The plate in that photo ain’t the same plate.
