He is driving in slow speed, somebody hits the side of his car with a baseball bat and he apparently panics and plows into the crowd in front of him.

That’s just the tail end of the video I saw, assuming it’s the same one.

He was a block or two behind that crowd with a clear street ahead of him when he first punched the gas. All you see there is what was happening as he ran up on the crowd.

It does look like that may have spooked him. What would you estimate, 10 to 15 MPH at that point?
