“If you ride the bench during the Star-Spangled Banner, you should ride the bench for the rest of season.”

Ride the bench and still take home that NFL paycheck?

You do that, and they will all sit for the National Anthem.

Wimps, as this is preseason it should be very easy to cut non team players.

They would be well advised to make every endeavor to put an end to this insulting nonsense.

Oh, they won't?

Oh well.

Not really going to worry about it because we no longer support any NFL team.

They failed last year to do anything.

I don’t care what they do this year or any year.

The NFL is dead to me.

If you ride the bench during the Star-Spangled Banner, you should ride the bench for the rest of season.

Mark Davis and Reggie McKenzie didn't sign Marshawn Lynch to have him sit for an entire season. Very few teams are going to be OK with sitting good players - and unless their contracts mandate that they stand for the anthem, the teams will have to pay them.

I don't have much respect for people who refuse to respect the US flag, but it's their choice, and so far it's a choice being exercised by very few players around the league. Kaepernick and Eric Reid of the 49ers have both said they won't repeat it and will stand for the anthem this year. Leave it alone and it will die out.

In all the years Bud Grant coached, the Vikings came to attention, every helmet just so under the arm...sort of over the heart, all after a virtual "dress-right-dress." In those days the Vikings displayed the classiest Star Spangled Banner of any professional team in any sport anywhere in North America.

I lost interest in the NFL about 20 years ago. It's an addiction that takes about 2.5 weeks to shake. Here's hoping another 10 or 15 percent of the fans shake that addiction in 2017.

It says right here, once you expunge the NFL from your life, an entire new autumn world opens up to you.

It also repays the effort when someone at work asks if you saw the game yesterday and you can answer, "No, the NFL bores the hell out of me." Reactions to that are beyond priceless.

NFL and Del Rio are signaling they don’t want your money or support.

Earlier this summer, I decided to lift my personal two-year ban on NFL games for this season, and was actually looking forward to this season. It’s now been extended until the NFL does something to rein in their players, which was why I began the ban in the first place.

I predict Rodger will get his pumpkin splashed before this gets fixed. Probably angry team owner. Roger sucks.

This post is for all of you that support the NFL. It’s wonderful and patriotic to say and post your anger over pleayers such as Kaepernick, Lynch, Vic, etc, etc. However, when you put on your favorite jersey to watch the game, you just became one of the sheep or one of the hypocrites, take your pick.
The NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and every other professional sports organization does not care if their players are patriotic. They don’t care what the political beliefs of the fans may be. All that they care about is the money.
This is why spoiled brats that hate the very country that gave them the opportunity to play a game for a living get away with a public display of that hate. That is why animal abusers, women abusers, drug addicts, and criminals continue to play. The organizations don’t care that the players are terrible role models for our kids. They don’t care.
When the fans continue to watch, buy memoribilia and support the sport, the organization gets paid. So Kaepernick didn’t get signed. So what? Lynch will play all year whether he stands or not. Even if he gets benched or fined, the NFL rakes in the bucks.
Only the fans will change this and only if the fans will make the protest against the NFL, not against Lynch or Kaepernick.

The NFL doesn't have the guts to bench unpatriotic players

totally wrong.

NFL = showbiz = leftist = traitorous

simple as that.
