Why is McMaster still employed with the US government?
Because Donald Trump and Steve Bannon want it that way, that's why. On balance, they support McMaster in his currently position. Maybe that will change at some point.
President Trump has earned my trust and loyalty a dozen times over in the last two years. He has shown excellent instincts, and a keen ability look beyond superficialities.
The endless second-guessing of this President and his advisors by all the armchair quarterbacks has become downright comical.
The President has access to a lot more information than we do regarding National Security Advisor H. R. McMaster, and obviously values his contributions.
Quite frankly, it's the height of presumption to gainsay the President—a successful and experienced Executive with proven hiring skills.
