I believe a similar quote was attributed to Harry Truman if I’m not mistaken. Although I disagreed with most of Trumans’ policies, he would tell folks to their face what ho thought of them. Good for him!
On another occasion Bess Truman was asked about Truman’s use of the profanity Horse Manure. Bess told the reporter that it took her years to get him to use Horse manure rather than the other word. (ie Horse Shit!) (LOL)
