Fair points. I just want to smash face with the next whining NeverTrumper who says that Trump supporters ‘worship’ him. That isn’t true. Support him? Support him for the long haul? Yes indeed.

I don’t worship Trump. None of us should. We should voice reasoned opposition when it’s warranted, but be very careful not to undermine him because some NeverTrumper or Leftist publication trashes him unfairly.
If he went off the reservation, I’d address it.
I don’t see folks who wouldn’t. We are realists, and we recognize that although not perfect, we would be very hard pressed to replace Trump with someone better.
I try to keep that in mind when I am compelled to criticize him.
We’ve got one shot. Trump is the car we’ve got to drive us into the future. It may not be the exact model we want, but it’s not going to get us anywhere if we jump out at a light and take all four wheels off.
