All vestiges of memory have already been eradicated. Google’s insidious control of public discourse though its biased search results is already far beyond anything imagined by any dystopian tale. Add in Facebook’s social engineering and thought control is virtually a fait accompli. That is only the technology; the Leftists have owned education in this country for generations, and that poison fruit has usurped not only the culture but rational thought itself.
The truth is that ideological differences are being systematically programmed to produce emotional responses completely outside the cerebral cortex. Behavioral and physiological sciences are no panacea, but anyone who thinks behavior modification stopped with Pavlov is in for a rude awakening. The only thing needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing, and it’s really not that hard to get people to do nothing.

Right. We’ve become experts at burying our heads in the sand and doing nothing. Look at what the Patriots did in the 1700s with their limited assets and archaic methods of communication. In the 21st Century we have everything and can’t pull it together, get organized, and thwart the evil that is happening.
