The Interior Department won’t be removing monuments to Confederate soldiers at national battlefields that are “an important part of our country’s history,” according to a spokesman.
“The National Park Service is committed to safeguarding these memorials while simultaneously educating visitors holistically and objectively about the actions, motivations and causes of the soldiers and states they commemorate,” spokesman Jeremy Barnum told E&E News.
National Park statements come after a woman was killed counter-protesting a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va. The city voted to remove a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee.

You cannot appease Marxist/fascist/socialist/globalist totalitarians. They will never be satisfied and will never stop. Trump is absolutely correct. If you allow them to tear down these historical monuments, then they’ll be coming after Washington and Jefferson next.
In fact, they’ll be coming after the American flag, our national anthem, our Judeo-Christian heritage, the Bible, and anything to do with the founding of this great nation while leaving the institution of slavery intact. And that includes the constitution itself. It did not ban slavery and must therefore be destroyed.
And they will continue destroying monuments, burning books, rewriting history, and fomenting hatred against America and especially against white Christian Americans.
It’s already started on all fronts mentioned in this post. And the weak-kneed “useful idiot” appeasers in the GOPe will go along with it until it’s too late. The left is turning our society upside down and inside out as we speak with godless anti-Christian Marxism, fascism, socialism, globalism, multiculturalism, homosexualism, abortionism, racism against whitey, etc, etc, and the GOP doesn’t give a damn.
They’ve acquiesced and surrendered to the godless Marxist/fascist/globalist/multiculuralist takeover of America and are satisfied that the left will be satisfied with their appeasement and we will have peace in our time.
Oh, and, obviously, it’s not really about slavery or the poor or the homosexuals or human rights or climate change or multiculturalism or any other cause or excuse. It’s the ages old cause of totalitarian world conquest and domination. Marx/Lenin/Stalin/Hitler, et al, did not dream this world conquest/domination stuff up themselves. It’s a recurring theme all the way back to the beginning of civilization.
History repeats.
A slippery slope—start with the Confederate Flag, Then the statues, then the books, and movies. It is easy to knock down a statue put up 100 years ago—simpler than solving problems in the Black Community. They pulled down the statues of the Czars—now Russia is replacing them.
ISIS and thoughts groups destroy any monument they don’t like.
