I have been debating cutting the NFL out of my life for the last two years. Its the off-season and the Kaepernick BS seemed to be dying out.

If it continues, I’m done - and I will tell everyone I know exactly why.

I have already decided what an extra 19 Sundays of free time would mean in my life.

“I have already decided what an extra 19 Sundays of free time would mean in my life.”

Here in Pittsburgh, those days that feature “The Running Man” game show on TV are the *best* days to get food shopping done. Everyone is at home getting all stressed out over steroid fueled meatbags running into one another. The roads are wide open and nobody is out.

I can’t fathom why people, especially conservatives, still support this league. The alphabet networks would take billions of dollars in losses if people would tune out. The players are, for the most part, drugged up suicidal killing machines. There are so many rules these days that refs can control the ‘flow’ of a game via penalties on any given play. It’s a television game show that only resembles a sport anymore.

I stopped paying attention to the NFL after they gave the Steelers Super Bowl XL and screwed Seattle. It was so obvious that the game was a manufactured joke. My late father used to bitch about NBC being biased against the Steelers ... even he saw what kind of a joke the league was by the time Rapistberger and the boys were given a joke Lombardi trophy and “one for the thumb”.

The NFL hit it’s peak in the 90s ... It’s been a slow motion train wreck ever since. If you have to watch it this season, pay close attention to the soap opera type atmosphere they create before, during, and after the game. You’ll start to puke.

/Rant off :-)

It’s huge. Cut the cord after the first Megan kelly debate way more productive on things I want to do. Was thinking of watching this year but this article cured that. I watched probably 34 years easiest habit to break ever

You can do it. It takes 2-3'weeks of detox. After that, most people look back and say how did I ever spend precious hours watching the NFL?

Spend time on products, services, and organizations that appreciate your support. The NFL clearly does not want the American man. Let them find markets in the South America and Europe - no USA Anthem in those countries.
