It wasn’t just the leftists who wielded weapons who were violent, the crowd that purposely blocked the road so that their partners in crime could attack cars with metal rods were also violent and criminal. The mob that blocked the road were not shrinking violets they were active participants in acts of violence. This is important to note because many enablers and social justice warriors have to be held accountable for their criminal participation and they need to be locked up.

When I heard about this, it reminded me of my days as a correction officer, where inmates would put their locker padlocks or a can of food in a sock and wield it as a weapon on somebody's head. One convict even used a metal mop-wringer as a weapon, and cracked a guy's skull open with it.
