Despite negative news coverage and criticism from his own party, a poll released Friday shows nearly half of Americans agree with President Donald Trump on the causes of violence in Charlottesville, Virginia.
President Trump has maintained that “both sides” were responsible for violence surrounding a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville. He also called out “troublemakers” among the counter protesters that came “with the black outfits and with the helmets and with the baseball bats.”

Only one side was to blame...the antifa. If the white supremacists had just been left alone to have their rally, no violence would have broken out.
That was regarding the removal of the monuments. 62% oppose removing them and that is with a 10% oversampling of dems.

An online poll from a leftists polling firm is not very accurate at all.
And bet they over sampled dems by at least 5 points...AT LEAST.
Just understand the majority if Americans hate BLM and ANTIFA protesters and do agree with POTUS.
Polls are mostly BS because the never sample the accurate Dem v Rep
If a poll says half, then you can add another ten percent for better accuracy.

I’ve been paying attention to what people are saying in public, such as in the grocery store, etc. So far I have only two people blame Trump. Outside of the MSM and lbs on FB/Twitter, no one seems to be following the lib narrative.

Doesn’t matter. 98% could agree with Trump and the Republicans would still be against him. They know they’ll get re-elected no matter where they stand. And they want Trump out so basically they’ll do anything.

That said, a 90-year-old friend had the same conversation with a caller for the GOP. Same answer and admission. So, why do they continue calling?

I am hopeful the ‘silent majority’ will not be swayed by the leftist media calling for Trump’s head. Instead they will vote to remove anti-Trumpers like Sen Jeff Flake from office.
I was traveling last week and did not follow the initial events at Charlottesville. On Monday all I heard on the TV was commentary on what Trump had said.
The media had stopped any reports about the event and instead totally focused on Trump.

I am not sure the GOP Elite cares whether John Q Public gives them a few dollars. Since Citizens United decision the politicians and political parties get most of their funds from corporations and individuals with deep pockets.
GOP Elite only listens to their bankers.
The furor over Trump’s comments on the Charlottesville violence baffles me, as the comments were obviously nothing but simple truths.
Crazy that those business leaders sounded off and resigned from the commission. The commission was to discuss business issues and ultimately benefit their businesses. And they walk away from it. Shareholders ought to be angry.

I have encountered a couple of Republicans, who believe they are conservative, but in reality are pretty liberal, who have fallen for the ruse.
It’s all designed to isolate Trump as a racist.
