It looks like Ernst Röhm, except he died in 1934 (unless the photo is misdated and not from 1941). That is who I was thinking of though.

It's not Jesse Ventura, who was too short in 1941.

I don't think it's Göring or von Ribbentrop. Göring was that plump in 1941, but he always wore the Blue Max (he was the last commander of the Red Baron's squadron and highly decorated) when he had an excuse, and he almost never wore the arm band. As for von Ribbentrop, he was appropriate for that meeting but far too skinny most of his life, including in 1941.

It might be Konstantin von Neurath, but I am uncertain on that one.

It makes me think it may be Martin Bormann, who was heavyset in build and looked a lot like that photo, I think. Bormann became Hitler's total right-hand man by the end of the '30s through the end of the war, and was constantly around Hitler. He became the gate-keeper for virtually all access to Hitler, I believe.

Here is another photo, with Bormann just to the right of Hitler (stage left). Hard to compare since it's not the same profile angle, but I think it may be the same man???

I’ve read that both Goering and Himmler hated Bormann intensely because they were all rivals for access and influence with Hitler, and Bormann made himself indispensable to Hitler.... so that even Goering and Himmler had to go through Bormann to communicate with Hitler.

Ernst Röhm was my first thought as well but he died in the night of the log knives. I would assume the picture took place at the same time Hitler was there. Husseini is dressed the same as when Hitler was there.

BTW - Ernst Röhm (open homosexual) and Ernst Kantorowicz (Jewish founding Nazi member) are both very interesting characters of Nazi history in my opinion. Anomalies of their perfect order.
