The campus has had to take seven dormitories out of service

In 1975, when I started, they had students sleeping in the gym cause there wasn’t enough dorm rooms. Now they’ll probably have to rent them out as HUD housing.

Hey, just more "safe space" for them. Looks like a win-win to me!

That's a good point. When a school is swirling around the toilet, the first sign of trouble is that out-of-state students don't want to go there anymore. These are the students who pay the most to attend the school, and who usually have the most options when it comes to selecting a college. It's easy to see why nobody who isn't from Missouri would want to go to the University of Missouri these days.
