In that business a hardware patent is pretty short lived because it get’s superseded in no time.

Did you know Samsung employs thousands of people in China? Communist China. While Apple does not. Apple has contracts with Foxconn, a Taiwanese company, and Foxconn has large contracts with most PC and mobile phone companies, including Samsung. But Samsung directly builds factories in communist China including research centers, employing thousands. Apple has it's research centers in California, USA, and builds products in California, Texas and other non-Chinese sites. The irony is thick with the anti-Apple haters.

Let's start with Boeing. China makes wings and other parts for Boeing planes. How about tool companies? Black and Decker for a start? Have you ever looked at country of manufacturer for just about everything you buy? Guess what - yep, China. But you think that herniating over the fact that Apple does not have their products made in China is a big deal to you. China is far less Communist than you think, they're borderline capitalists.I don't hate Apple in the sense that I hate Apple. I believe their products are overpriced and not backward compatible for the software they've sold before. In software stores (those that are still around) there's just an aisle or two of Apple products where the rest of the store has products you can use on just about any other computer. Apple is totally propriety in their hardware and software.
I don't "hate" Apple, I just personally think their stuff is over-rated.

Apple does not have manufacturing employees in commie China. They have perhaps 800 or more employees in sales and distribution, but not manufacturing. Did your spit dry up?
