That’s what I’d like to think. I also hope he’s holding back some of the big stuff until the 2018 election cycle.
My estimation (pulled freshly out of my butt) is that nothing is going to happen until before the election as you indicate.
This would minimize the damage from a failed case.
Another valid concern is that there is just TOO much criminality for most people to get their heads around. There literally could be thousands of trials and every one important. Those of us here know far more of the political truth than the average person who can’t even name their Representative or a Senator.
