Port Lavaca is on the “dirty” side of this storm. Someone is going to get hammered. I’m praying for her safety and for her home, but what do you do? Put the belongings upstairs and let the wind rip off the 2nd floor? Leave them on the 1st floor and have them flooded? There is no good outcome here.
Load up the car like the clampitts with stuff that you don’t want to lose and leave the rest for insurance to replace.
