I think the really scary part about Harvey is the combination of 35-plus inches of rain and the storm surge. We're talking much of the coastline of Texas hit with a deluge of water and wind that could make the infamous 1900 hurricane that destroyed Galveston, TX seem like a minor event.

Saw earlier today that this storm has the potential to alter the coastline of TX.
