Over about 12 or 15 it just sort of makes the rubble bounce. Flooded out from 15” isn’t materially different than flooded out from 30”. It’s all flat as a pancake, no high ground really.

Do you know how long it takes to drain that area? IE they get a foot one day, and another foot the next day, is the first foot still mostly undrained?

In my somewhat hilly part of Virginia the peak river height lasts 6 hours and is usually 1/2 gone by 24.
