My dad owned a gas station during the oil crisis in the 70s.

I was the “lucky” kid who got to put the “last car” sign when we going to run out of gas.

Likewise, I got to check the gasoline gauges (it would be impossible today) to makes sure they were < 1/2 tank. IIRC, some people just disconnected theirs.

I am pretty sure this won’t get to that point. I am here in North Irvnig and no signs of gasoline panic.

It doesn't matter what anyone uses to explain what is happening, there is definitely a shortage of gas at the pumps. I drove by twenty major retailers this morning and several other minor ones and not one had a gallon of gas to dispense.

I would call that a shortage. This is in San Antonio.
