The problem with your comment and with your attitude is that if you had bothered to read the original story, or any of the many comments, you would know that the person the nurse was protecting was the victim of a crash involving a high speed police chase where the real perp ran into the victims truck during the chase.

Dave, the accident happened in Logan, Utah, 90 miles from SLC. The trucker had been transported to the UofU hospital for treatment. The only way what you wrote makes any sense is if the SLCPD was acting on behalf of the LoganPD who may well have some liability because they were in a “police chase” when the head-on accident occurred. The trucker was from Idaho, and he died.
