There may actually be an upside to this. As painful as it is and is going to be, hopefully it will condition the public so the next time some Democrat promises low-cost government health care, he will be booed off the stage and chased out of the building. For say the next 50-75 years.
It’s nice that you are optimistic, but I think you are being naive. I don’t even know if 50% would choose to end ACA today, if they could.
You would like to think that but then they’ll come up with the single-payer and they’ll sell it and people vote for it.
