I think the whole Gulf of Mexico needs to ignore the spaghetti and assume the worst.

Looks like it’s projected to cut through FL and Cuba and head into the Gulf. God forbid if Houston or NOLA gets hit again.
Yea, it passed through the first Hebert box a little northward. If I had to place a bet I say it makes landfall in Southern Florida.
If it goes through the Gulf it will be a very , very powerful storm.
The tracks seem to be shifting to the west.
As we learned with Harvey, even if it drops to a 1 or 2, if it stalls on top of an area, the flooding damage can be as bad as the wind speed with a 4 or 5.
