Trump masterfully made Lyin’ Ryan and McTurtle look like idiots in front of the entire US (not that they needed the help).
Further, he left the backdoor open on both DACA and a future hike in the debt ceiling—Almost as if he wants to see if they’ll step on themselves again.
The smart money says that they will.
He wants DACA passed into law and the debt ceiling eliminated.
It seems to me that the people taking the biggest hit right now are the Freedom Caucus. Trump has more or less rendered them irrelevant if he’s going to make deals with Dems.
And that’s what we want, right? No one talking about spending at all.
