This. The Deep State didn’t protect Sessions, it was “true conservatives” who went after Trump for calling him out. Trump can’t fire him now because all those “true conservatives” sabotaged any efforts to do so.

Trump already said that he never would have hired Sessions if he known he would recuse himself. Sessions isn’t taking orders from Trump. I wish to God I knew who he was talking orders from because whoever it is, they have him by the balls.
Knock it off, the poor guy just got back from vacation and made some now forgotten announcement he was praised for, and you want him to take up some obscure legal problem? Really?
He has long standing plans to go on his next vacation on Monday, after the hurricane mess is over and forgotten. He’s elderly and needs his rest time, and meds to help him feel useful and important.
