Best regards. Switched from Weather Channel. Have been watching Shep all day. I think he’s doing a good job today. Happy Birthday Steve Harrigan.

Hard to read the vans parked behind the building—maybe C&C? It was a distant video shot.

I don’t want to speak too soon but Naples had very minimal wind damage. Florida so far lucked out with wind damage. We’ll see what the surge brings. Some people are saying Keys got hit hard but not as bad as they thought. We’ll see. I haven’t seen any videos or pics yet. I’m sure there is damage and flooding.

It’s sad to see but supposedly there are a dozen stranded out of water. There really is nothing anyone can do considering their weight and lack of equipment to lift them back into the ocean.

Hope you’re safe and sound....so far! Pretty breezy, oh, ok, windy in Lakeland. Talking about 75-95 MPH winds in our area later tonight. Blowing about 30-35 now. Did I mention rain? Oh yeah! We’re getting plenty of rain.

Thanks for Naples update. The news guys out in the weather were a little scared.

We're getting some more intense winds now.

Okay, you forced me into a search (but it was well worth it); for the curious, but not those easily offended by street language: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DA86rsKOjo

Looks like Cuba, "Took one for the team", and took something out of it.
