On board the papal plane (AFP) - Pope Francis on Monday slammed climate change doubters as "stupid" in the wake of a spate of hurricanes that have thrashed the US, Mexico and the Caribbean.

"Those who deny it (climate change) should go to the scientists and ask them. They are very clear, very precise," the pontiff said Monday during a press conference on the return leg of a five-day Colombia trip.

Pope slams climate change deniers as 'stupid'

Hard to believe that Jesuits were once undisputed leaders in the realm of science...

Once upon a time, in a universe far, far away...

If the pope has the ability to read the latest simple refutation of the Gore claims of global Climate Change, any claim of science knowledge to call 'deniers' 'stupid,' must be seriously challenged.

An Inconvenient Deception, 2nd Edition, by Roy W. Spencer, Ph.D., 2017.
How Al Gore Distorts Climate Science and Energy Policy (Kindle Locations 5-6). Kindle Edition.

"“A phrase from the Old Testament comes to mind: ‘man is stupid, a stubborn, blind man’,” he added."

That’s an unreferenced Bible verse, just like activist Supreme Court justices saying that an issue is constitutional or unconstitutional without referencing specific constitutional clauses.

Used to be a time when asking if the Pope was Catholic was a rhetorical question.

As irrefutable proof that "global warming" has occurred repeatedly over millions of years before any 'contribution' by man was possible, since they did not yet exist, melting, receding European glaciers have recently revealed huge tree stumps thousands of years in 'age' which had been covered by hundreds of feet of glaciers for additional millions of years.

How is that possible?

Maybe Pope Francis is a false Pope and Pope Benedict is the true Pope who was forced to abdicate. Is an abdication under pressure a legitimate abdication?

Are these the same scientists he condemns for not believing in creationism? One question for all of the sky is falling folks. Have we seen anything weather related that is totally unprecedented? This clown needs to spend more time cleaning up his church and less time on matters he knows nothing about.

The pope and the RCC are supposed to be infallible yet everyone with eyes to see can see what this pope is.

The pope can never claim to be infallible about everything; neither can anyone else.
You can be correct about claims and assertions without being factual.

The popes's infallibility is conditional, always has been.

Calling people stupid is stupid so therefore the Pope is calling himself out.

A Pope is only said to be infallible on certain issues of church dogma when he issues an ex Cathedra Pronouncement. To date there have only been two ex Cathedra Pronouncements.

The idea is that Jesus said, “And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Therefore the Holy Spirit would not allow Satan to destroy the Church through the errors of Popes.

However, nothing that Pope Francis has said is regarded as infallible.

So he is only infallible when he is in that special pope state of infallibility. Otherwise he is not infallible. Isn't that convenient.

So he is infallible when:

A) He wants to be.

or

B) When he isn't being particularly damaging.

Shouldn’t the POPE be getting his information from GOD?
