Amnesty: Democrats’ Dream Act Would Kill Donald Trump’s RAISE Act
breitbart ^ | NEIL MUNRO

Democratic and business groups are pushing President Donald Trump to accept a 2017 “Dream Act” — but the legislation would greatly expand the size the DACA amnesty, welcome more criminals, eliminate existing education expectations, sideline American youths, and greatly expand the financial costs paid by Americans. For example, the Democrats’ Dream act would provide a near-automatic amnesty path to citizenship to a low-wage school dropout who was convicted of two felonies, providing he also enrolls in a neighborhood education program — and it would likely impose a $2 trillion cost on taxpayers over the next 50 years.

Those easy-citizenship proposals are the reverse of Trump’s promised “RAISE Act,” which would benefit 320 million Americans by cutting low-skill immigration, raising wages and reducing taxpayers’ long-term costs by $1 trillion per decade.

If Trump accepts the Dream Act, it will be a triple-victory for Democrats because Trump will also lose the chance to get funding for his border wall, or to pass his immigration-reform RAISE Act. Defeating the border wall and the RAISE Act are already a huge priority for Democrats and business executives because they would sharply reduce the annual inflow of future Democratic voters and of taxpayer-funded consumers.

The Dream Act of 2017 was drafted by Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin and GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham. They were two of the original eight authors of the 2013 “Gang of Eight” amnesty-and-cheap-labor bill which cost Democrats nine Senate seats in 2014, doomed Sen. Marco Rubio’s presidential ambitions, and helped Donald Trump win the 2016 election.

And the push is on...Trump signaling he wants DACA amnesty and the flood gates open....

I wish I knew Trump’s strategy with all of this.

Why would anyone ever think that a democrat immigration bill would align with Trump’s often stated positions?

The democrats will never settle for anything less than amnesty for all 40 million illegals. That would secure all democrat objectives forever.

DACA is long game permanently-entrenched DemonRat majority. The uniparty approves, 100%.

Trump's populist agenda hinges on ELIMINATING DACA and RESTORING the Rule of Law in America.

The biggest reason for no are the questions that leave Democrats tongue tied.

1. Where do you draw the line? If you give the current DACA people amnesty, then does that mean that all future illegals who bring their children to the US get amnesty? If the answer is yes, then you have wide open borders.

2. And what about the parents who broke the law in the first place. Do they get a free pass since it would be heartless to “break up a family?” Are they then rewarded just because they have children — a variation on the anchor baby. And what about grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins and sisters and brothers....

I’m getting real tired of having the democrats AND the republicans wagging their fingers at me and telling me and all of the American taxpayers that we have to take it in the ass from mexico, and basically have to be their sugar daddy, and have to accept illegals as our own.

The US owes mexico NOTHING. If our elected officials want to throw open the borders, then they can all go down to the Rio Grande and stand arm to arm with their mexican comrades. And they will be shot along with any mexicans who try to cross over.

If you are a democrat RINO free traitor, and you want to try to divide and conquer, and you want to alienate 2/3rds of the US population, bring it on, and you WILL watch this continent burn.

I am reaaaaallly disappointed in Trump re:DACA and everything Javanka influences him about.

More importantly, his administration and advisors are no longer those with the views that put him into office, but tend to be RINOs and swamp dwellers.

His voting constituancy had better send the message loud and clear. Get back on track.

What is the over/under on Trump accepting this in order to be seen as accomplishing something?

First off nobody at this point knows what CONgress is going to come up with if at all within 6 months. 2nd nobody knows that Trump will sign what they come up with if they can come up with anything at all. 3rd we don’t know what if anything Trump will do if 6 month pass without any action except that DACA will then be KAPUT! And isn’t that the way we what it?

Off the cuff, I surmise that Trump’s recent shift to the democrat team indicates that he no longer likes his current job. He knows that he won’t have to worry about it come election in 2020 if he doesn’t stick to pushing his campaign promises. Personally, I believe he’s been made an offer by the shadow government that he dares not refuse.

Trump supports amnesty. He wants congress to make DACA permanent law....and no it’s not “4D chess”.

His strategy is....he honestly wants the DACAs amnestied. He more or less said it when he threw it to Congress. If the bill is not too egregious he’ll sign it.
