The Trumpbots assure us that he's playing 36DD chess.

Now we get to see if it's for real.

Pfft, no. He’s caving left and right.

One day he was sending out tweets like fire, defending America, and Americans. The next day he stops tweeting, and he starts working with democrats.

“The Trumpbots assure us that he’s playing 36DD chess.”

You can mock us diehard Trump supporters, but you’ll be the ones eating crow when it finally dawns on you how much his particular brand of leadership is doing for the conservative movement.

I think Trump is plenty smart, but I don’t think the “3D chess” meme, Scott Adams’ “master persuader” BS, or the Art of the Deal persona come anywhere close to explaining what makes Trump tick.

To understand that, you need to appreciate what incredibly deep doo-doo this country had gotten itself into by the time Trump arrived on the scene.

Marxism, released like a virus into American institutions a century ago, had gestated in stealth, affecting a bloodless revolution. Our news media, our educational system, science, academia, Hollywood, and of course, the government have been compromised for generations.

The very words we use to communicate when we teach our children, inform the public, and engage in public discourse - have been replaced by an Orwellian “newspeak”, a “politically correct” dialect that has effectively blocked off all paths to reason, all avenues of escape.

Words and concepts that once described rational thought are now held in contempt. It is bad to judge, to discriminate, to critique. Noticing differences is a bad thing, competition is a bad thing, success and prosperity, bad. Logic, morality, bad.

Even science has a new variant, called “settled science”. Settled? I thought the whole point of the scientific process was never to settle, never to stop questioning. That sounds more like dogma.

The idea of Marxism is to reeducate the citizenry, train them to reject individual liberty, reject free enterprise, reject work, competition, sacrifice in favor of wealth redistribution, government dependency and social conformity. Their aim is to make the winners ashamed of their success and hand over their winnings.

The Marxists don’t really believe in this stuff. They don’t care about equality or diversity - they use it to shame free people into giving up their liberty so that they can assume power.

Anyway, this is the state of the America that Trump wants to make great again. Look at the battles he’s choosing. The MSM, PC speech, the pay to play swamp, the uniparty, globalism and the cheap labor express. Excessive regulation, taxation and redistribution. Is that not conservative enough?

Trump is not your typical constitutional conservative who thinks and speaks in terms of founding principals. Instead, he is a quick-witted pragmatist with an uncanny knack for spotting a con a mile away. He knows who the enemy is and he appears to be totally unafraid.

He seems willing to sacrifice the remainder of his wonderful billionaire life taking vile slings and arrows from deranged leftists even though he could have chosen a private island surrounded by immeasurable luxury and adoration. And his family appears willing to do the same.

If Trump hadn’t come along to fight back against the evils of Marxism, who would? And instead of appreciating it, there are people who call themselves conservatives who can only find fault.

I just don’t get it.
