Well, I, for one, wish the world would wait until after the World Series to end.

If the end didn't come during last year's World Series, I doubt it is involved in the schedule for the end of the world.

And when can we get back to stoning false prophets who predict the end of the world and fail?

>>And when can we get back to stoning false prophets who predict the end of the world and fail? <<

First, no one flat out says that Yom Teruah is the Rapture.

Second, the end of the world is not the Rapture. Neither is it the return of Christ to the earth at the end of the seven year tribulation. After the Tribulation, the world does not end because you will have the reign of Christ for 1,000 years.

But you can put money in the bank on this. There will always be those who ridicule Christians and scoff at the Lord’s return. Jesus , Himself, spoke about people like this in a most disdainful manner.

Good question!

The last question asked of Jesus was,
"Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

There is not a single scripture instructing us to figure out the date.
