Can Twitter users remain one step of ahead of company censors seeming to block a viral clip?
One woman’s stunned reaction to an Islamic call to prayer broadcast over loudspeakers in a Brooklyn neighborhood has spread like wildfire across the social media network. Yet some say the video has repeatedly been yanked, causing others to rapidly retweet in an effort to keep it from disappearing.
In the clip, an unidentified woman is seen reacting in disbelief as the man calls out in Arabic at an overpowering decibel level. “What’s going on, this is Brooklyn?” she asks at one point, before shaking her head.
