hopefully this year’s viewership is lower than last year’s...wouldn’t watch if paid to do so.
I thought so; because I seem to remember that GOTs wasn't nominated this year.
As for this year's Emmy's; I looked at who and what was nominated and didn't recognize so many shows, that I couldn't see wasting my time on it. I used to watch Awards shows, Oscars, Emmys; but, the actors have just ruined the experience. Plus, such dreck that is nominated.
The Crown from Netflix was a great series about Queen Elizabeth II's early years as Queen. Claire Foy was terrific in the role of Elizabeth. John Lithgow was terrific as Churchill. But, otherwise, I just didn't recognize any of these shows or actors nominated.
