Back during the Clinton sex scandals, the Democrats threw Thomas Jefferson down the stairs with the extremely dubious Sally Hemings nonsense, as part of their “Everybody Does It” campaign. At the time, everybody knew that it was unprovable nonsense, but the prevailing attitude was to “let the baby have his bottle”. Nobody cared because it was irrelevant and very probably false.
Twenty years later, and yesterday’s unprovable falsehood has become today’s established historical fact. We should have fought this harder back then, because now we are bucking the prevailing consensus.
Ten years from now, the only thing people will remember about Thomas Jefferson is that he owned slaves and fathered children with Sally Hemings. All else will be forgotten.
This is why the Left must be vigorously opposed at every opportunity, in all matters, great and small. They mean to destroy our country, and the only rational response is to always answer with “not one more step”.
The same could be said of every University President who permits a "Black Students Association" on his/her campus.

It’s not about statues. It’s a profound hatred for this country, and a longstanding practice of blaming non-White failure on Whitey. After they tear down every statue, having been given detailed instructions by the new york times, they will move to the Constitution and the very foundation of this country.
The goal is to destroy it, and to build up a marxist paradise in its place, in which all Whites will be subjugated to non-Whites. They are well on the way.
