Clinton won't rule out questioning legitimacy of election

Hillary Clinton said she wouldn’t rule out challenging the legitimacy of the 2016 presidential election if Russian interference turned out to be deeper than previously thought.

“No, I wouldn't rule it out,” she said in an interview with NPR published Monday.

The defeated Democratic nominee stressed, however, that she does not believe there is a means to officially challenge the election’s outcome.

“and attends an ultra-leftist “social justice” church”

And isn’t the minister of Gorsuch’s church a lesbian?

Why is a Special Prosecutor needed? These are well documented and well understood crimes. She is not and was never in a position to officially scuttle any DoJ / FBI investigation.

We have read many articles over the past year or so that HRC’s email related crimes, to give just one example, are clear violations of laws that the DoJ has prosecuted military personnel for in its ordinary course of business.

She is descending into the same sort of madness that swallowed AlGore.

These pampered snowflakes can’t deal with the concept of losing.

The Clinton/Obama/GOP-e deep state combine has used every tool available to strike at Trump and failed. If you strike at a prince and fail, you must expect the prince to strike back. The President should make sure these enemies’ lives are full of lawyers.

We kinda hated it when the leftist beat up on that couple on some home-repair show because of something their pastor might have said.

I think this former AG is full of crap. The president couldn’t order a special prosecutor to be appointed because of justice depth regulations? first a special prosecutor is not needed and being that the justice department falls under the executive branch of government it would go like this. Hello, this is the president of the United States and I just changed your “regulations” now appoint a special prosecutor RFN, or you are fired, thank you.

I guess neither of you bothered to look at the link. The POTUS’ restriction on ordering the AG to do his bidding is not restricted to the area of special counsels.

PS, if you imagine you know more about the laws governing the POTUS/AG relationship than a former AG, then cite your legal sources. Show me where the law allows the POTUS to order the AG to obey his whims.

I’ll wait.

Yep, and she attended the anti-Trump "womyn" march in Washington D.C. and eagerly tweeted about how awesome it was seeing a bunch of women dressed up as vaginas. That's his pastor.

Another fun fact: Gorsuch attends this SJW church despite the fact there's a more conservative, pro-traditional marriage church in the same denomination as his (Episcopalian) in the same town, so he could easily switch churches if he wanted to

It never ceases to amaze me that Trump fanboys always point to this guy as "proof" that Trump did something conservative.

I just read it and as I thought there is NO LAW cited by anyone saying the president can’t order the AG to investigate. He certainly can. They just say it’s bad policy and in most cases I would agree but what is even far worse policy is for the justice dept to completely ignore irrefutable evidence of felony criminal wrongdoing by the former sec of state. We have Clinton Comey and others literally admitting to criminal activity yet nothing has been done.

The info at the link is not as you characterized it.

Jim Jacobs, professor at New York University School of Law, specializing in criminal law and procedure

(In a phone interview he said:) “That’s very contrary to the way the Justice Department operates. It is essential that the Department be apolitical with respect to its choice of law enforcement targets and to its exercise of prosecutorial discretion. And very improper if the president were to be making phone calls to the attorney general with respect to a particular target of investigation. I don’t know of any president who has done that. If it had been revealed to have happened in the past it would have been a scandal.

Alan Dershowitz, Harvard Law School professor, emeritus, of constitutional and criminal law

“The president is not supposed to influence prosecutorial policies by the Justice Department, which should be independent. It is bad policy to mix politics with law enforcement.”

[Both quotes from the link posted in #99]
