“Moore will be much more helpful.”

I agree and I disagree with President Trump on this. I have been supporting Roy Moore. Screw Mitch McConnell and his GOPe minions.

Trump is making a big mistake on Strange. He is one of the swamp creatures Trump is trying too get rid of.

Yeah, but helping Strange increases Trump’s power over the RINOs.
And he wins either way.

Hope Moore pulls out a win.

... I am supporting "Big" Luther Strange because he was so loyal & helpful to me!

I'm all ears. How has Strange been loyal and helpful to the Trump agenda?

Maybe, but you’re basing that on “feeling” rather than performance. All Trump has is a sitting senator who voted the right way on the ONLY significant piece of legislation in front of him, the repeal of Obamacare.

If you’re Trump, you can’t NOT support Strange. And I agree, Moore will be more helpful, but there’s no way any sitting president can punish a guy who voted for him on a key piece of legislation vs an untested competitor.

I don’t know much about him, but I do love the name “Big Luther” Strange.

My mailbox is filled with at least 3 8x10 ads from Luther. Nothing from Strange. Mitch is spending BIG time on this and the ads are so over the top it is obvious to a 3rd grader that Moore is being taken and quoted out of context.

Let’s hope AL voters ignore the endorsement.
Strange is a Cheap Labor Express stooge.
We have enough of those.

Corker, Hatch, Heller and Flake must go in 2018.

Mr. President, this WILL NOT help you get things done from “Turtle Head” and the GOPe. Don’t understand your strategy here.

Moore will be much more helpful.

Maybe not from Trump's standpoint. Luther is a politician and can be greased. Moore is a staunch principled conservative who probably does not wheel and deal like other politicians. If Moore agrees with Trump on an issue he will support him. If not he won't. Of course that principled approach is what makes Moore attractive to many.

Having said all that either one will likely be generally friendly to Trump and what he wants to accomplish. Not even sure why Trump is getting involved in this primary.

Well, Donald, the Conservative voters of Alabama helped you a lot more than this one guy, and they have been loyal to you, so how about supporting their preferred candidate instead?

Moore will win, sorry DJT.

Retain a fairly low profile as you close out your first year. I honestly don’t know how you should play it going into your second year but 2018 is sure to be a referendum on either you or the GOP leadership. You, unfortunately, have the Reagan dilemma of fighting for control of your party while outsmarting the disgusting democrat leadership. But Reagan did not have a GOP Congress and although you have a GOP Congress, it, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to matter.

It is more clear what your base wants: focus on prosecuting HRC, dismissing Mueller, McCabe, and all the disloyal members of their camp including BLM and related. Expose Obama for his illegal spying on you and others, expose judicial corruption, CLEAN IT UP!

And dismiss Sessions. Stop hiring the Beltway Bureaucrat Class and bring in Americans from outside who love their country and who are smart.

Dismiss McMaster and push him out to retirement. Get rid of DeStefano and tell Cohn to clear out.

Bring in the Sheriffs Arpaio and Clarke, and Colonel West.

Get to the bottom of the Clinton body count and the Clinton Foundation crime syndicate.

Back Nehlen against Ryan for 2018 and tell McConnell to step down or else. Let the GOP quislings know you are the leader of the party and that you will tolerate no more delay on healthcare reform, tax reform, banking reform, and election reform including a full investigation of voter fraud with resultant prosecutions.

Bring back Bannon and put him in charge of hiring and firing White House personnel.

Investigate McCain and his Armed Services Committee pay-to-play.

Mueller is running loose and out of control under the DOJ with two dozen Hillary camp dwellers. Call them on the carpet. Tell them to submit to you a full report of their findings by the first Tuesday of November this year, and justify why they should receive continued funding and if they can’t, fire every last one of them. If they scream obstruction of justice, tell them they can take it up with us, the base. We’re fed up with it.

I think President Trump knows full well that his base cannot be told for whom to vote. I think he also is ok with Moore winning this, and expects his base to support Moore, for the most part. I also think President Trump is a man of his word, and promised help to Strange way back when Strange was (in Trump’s eyes) loyal and helpful to him.

The president will keep his word and trust his base to vote the right way. The right is not the brain-dead robots...that’s the left.
