“REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS PROMISE OBAMACARE REPEAL”

November 9, 2016

Republican leaders in Congress have a long list of agenda items they want to pursue after Donald Trump becomes president, and repealing Obamacare is one of the most important.

“It’s a pretty high item on our agenda,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters at a press conference in the Capitol Wednesday afternoon. “And I would be shocked if we didn’t move forward, keeping our commitment to the American people.”

House Speaker Paul Ryan likewise reiterated House Republicans’ commitment to repealing the 2010 law. “This Congress, this House majority, this Senate majority has already demonstrated, has already proven we’re able to pass that legislation and put it on the president’s desk,” Ryan noted during a press conference in Wisconsin.

Now you are the useful idiot.

You can’t see the nose on your face. As you are being told by multiple Freepers, that is the point. Congress only passed a repeal when they knew it wouldn’t work. They will not pass a bill like that now even if you hold your breathe until you turn blue. Why don’t you take some time off to get your head together. Either this bill passes or millions of people will go without healthcare insurance because they can’t afford the policies and the high deductible. Nothing else will change at all except that Congress will pass laws to send more subsidies to insurance companies.

And you can pat yourself on the back and say well they should have repealled Obamacare.

This Bill is not perfect but it is a very decent first step on the road to getting the Government out of healthcare and redeveloping a private marketplace.

If we are now discussing Lindsey’s bill before the Senate, that we all know does nothing to rid us of Obama care, I’m not quite sure I buy into the half step to real repeal. Leave the damn thing to hang itself and the democrats for voting for it, would be my first inclination.
